About this event
250 years ago, Grotonians became some of the first to fight for a country that didn’t yet have a name. The stories of these veterans provide a unique on-the-ground perspective of the founding of the United States. In this presentation, community historian Joshua Vollmar will explore the lives and legacies of some notable locals from the Revolutionary era and how their lessons on liberty echo today. Register online at gpl.org or call 978-448-1167.
