An Art Talk by Mary Minifie, Groton Artist
Only an artist can explore the poetry, imagination, and keenness of perception that goes into creating a work of lasting beauty and emotional resonance. Mary Minifie brings her rigorous artistic background, sensibility, and appreciation to her multi-media presentation on “what a painter thinks about when composing and making a painting.” She will draw upon Groton native Edmund Tarbell’s artwork and her own exquisite portraits. A reception will follow Mary’s presentation. Co-sponsored with Groton History Center and generously funded through the Groton Commissioners of the Trust Funds. Limit of 25.
